I noticed your post on war. I know several times in the old testament that even God went to war. How do you justify saying that war is sin?

First off, Jesus’ commands to turn the other cheek is explicitly anti-violence. Secondly, for the first 400 years of Christian history, all Christians were staunch pacifists. Finally, whenever we make statements about the character of God, they have to hold up to the character of Jesus, who is the full expression of God’s character. Jesus’ very life stood as a testament of non-violent resistance.
